Kite surfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW-wnw Wind Stength: 17-25 Surf / Sea State: choppy, white water Air Temperature: warm! Sea Temperature: warm! Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Forcast was for wind, so took the van to work. They were right on with the
forecast. Ynyslas at its best, sunny blue water and sky with white water
all around. out from 3pm-6.30 on the 9m kite. 4 other kites out in total
and quite a lot of holiday makers on the beach. Fantastic session, 50%
depowered on the 9m in the end because the wind just kept building all
afternoon. A lagoon seems to have appeared opposite the car park where I
launch and as the tide dropped had some fun letting rip in the smooth
shallow water - putting a plume of water onto the beach... Further out
there were waves to be had, although it got choppy and confused later on in
the afternoon. Water was warm, air was warm in the sun. Why would anyone
go abroad when this is down the road! Best of the year (so far).
